Exhibition: 13th June 2017 - A Midsummer Night's Dream

Today I commented on Holly Willoughby’s style for The Daily Star in an article by Samantha Bartlett. Holly maintains a close relationship with her fans by regularly blogging her looks from high street brands on Instagram. Fashion over the past 10 years has drawn a lot from alternative culture and individuation, and it is refreshing to find Holly natural, healthy body shape and beauty beloved by the nation. I wonder if the royal weddings this year have encouraged a move back to modern sophistication and romantic tradition? Her natural, feminine glamour and approachable style means that she is beloved by the nation, and a Style Queen - go girll!

Join us in Fairyland for the opening party of Julie Goldsmith's A Midsummer Night's Dream LIBRARY Window Installation, it will be a true Midsummer Night's Dream Ball!

Facebook event:

An evening full of magic, inspired by A Midsummer Night's Dream, a comedy written by William Shakespeare.

Julie Goldsmith is a London studio based artist, graduate of Camberwell Art School and member of the Royal British Society of Sculptors.
She works in bronze, ceramic, oil and found objects. The work is poetical. Recurring motifs are lambs, wolves, fairies, swans and latterly vampires. Influences are from fiction, poetry and music.

Goldsmith likes to install her work in strange and beautiful environments such as an old icehouse, the crypt of a church and a disused water tower.
She also regularly exhibits in group shows and her work is in private collections.
Her occasional art reviews are published in International Times.

The guests will have an opportunity to enjoy in Jovana Backovic, “ethereal, almost otherworldly attraction….simply irresistible” music, as well as a little opera pop-up by Kevin Prone
