There was so much that noone told me when I was starting out: - the importance of planning and preparing, the joy of research and development, always keeping a stock checklist of every item and ensuring that the designer examines every piece when they receive it back, how to communicate within a team and also how to translate those finite details into the abundance of signs and images which we are faced with on a day to day basis is overwhelming, fascinating, inspiring, plucking the ones which appeal to you as an individual, and defining your niche in the creative industries will inevitably assist in the creation of your identity and the brands which want to work with you ..and ensure you cherish your creative career and love every moment; from conception to that moment that you see your work in print, on television, and in film and on stage.

Now more than ever it is important to work with ethical and environmentally conscious brands who care about our planet, ensuring a commitment to the future generations. Reduce waste, reuse, and recycle, and invest in quality. By making a conscious decision about where to purchase, and which brands to work with, we can work cohesively to avert climate catastrophy and protect our natural resources and wildlife, creating work which is also beautiful on the inside,

I will also stage a workshop how to use recycled and reclaimed materials (such as fabric offcuts which would otherwise go to landfill) to create exquisite art pieces.
